OrtoRomi - Company

OrtoRomi

The history, values and heritage of an Italian excellence

The company was founded in 1996 from the combination of the two founding partners, Elio Pelosin and Rino Bovo, experiences as devoted fruit and vegetables agricultural entrepreneurs. Initially dedicated to the marketing of first range products (like unwashed salads), starting in 1999 the Company decided to invest in the fresh cut market with already washed and ready-to-eat salads. However, it was only 2006 when OrtoRomi took the significant step further and became a Cooperative. Today, over 40 farms scattered throughout the country supply raw materials and are proud members of the OrtoRomi Cooperative (9 Agricultural Companies, the Co.Ve.Ca.A. Cooperative).
